The Tokyo College of Anime is one of the leading vocational schools of Animation, E-Sports, and Anime Voice Acting in Japan, with hands-on specialized industry-specific training from top class instructors in modern and fully-equipped facilities.
With a goal that students are able to be successful post-graduation, the courses are collaborative, practical and stimulating, and updated to be in line with the current trends, industry-standard practises and technologies, and most importantly the current demand and needs of the industry. Moreover, Tokyo College of Anime provides job counselling and job search services to its students as well as support to debut and launch their career.

The Technology department at the College of Anime aims to train specialized human resources in cutting-edge technologies required by the industry.

Video Distribution & Video Creator

Course Description

The Video Distribution & Video Creator major at the College of Anime is a four-year program that focuses on creating and distributing video content using the latest technology. The curriculum is designed to help students develop professional-level video editing skills using software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere.

The program offers a range of classes that cover a wide variety of topics, including video production, cinematography, storytelling, and sound design. In addition, students will learn how to market and distribute their content on popular video streaming platforms like YouTube and TikTok.

 

Throughout the program, students will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, collaborating with other students and industry professionals to create high-quality video content. They will also have access to cutting-edge equipment and software to enhance their skills and develop their creative vision.

In addition to technical skills, the Video Distribution & Video Creator major also emphasizes the development of communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Smartphone App & Game Creator

Course Description

The Smartphone App & Game Creator major at the College of Anime is designed to train students in the skills necessary to develop applications and games for smartphones. Over the course of four years, students will learn programming languages such as Swift and Java, as well as gain experience with virtual reality and augmented reality technologies to create immersive experiences for users.

 

Throughout the major, students will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, developing their skills in project management, communication, and collaboration. They will also have access to the College of Anime’s network of industry professionals, giving them the chance to connect with potential employers and mentors.

 

By the end of the program, students will have the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the fast-paced and ever-evolving world of mobile app and game development.

Metaverse Creator

Course Description

The Metaverse Creator major offered by the College of Anime’s Technology Department is a four-year program aimed at teaching students the skills required to create immersive virtual worlds. The curriculum focuses on developing the technical and artistic abilities necessary to build 3D environments, characters, and objects using industry-standard software.

 

Students in the Metaverse Creator major will learn to use software such as Maya and Blender for 3D modeling, and Unity and Unreal Engine for game engine development. They will also be introduced to scripting and programming languages, such as C# and Python, to create interactive and dynamic experiences for users in the virtual world. The program emphasizes the importance of collaboration, project management, and communication skills, which are essential for teamwork and successful implementation of large-scale projects. Students will learn how to work in multidisciplinary teams and effectively communicate their ideas to peers and clients.

 

In addition to technical and artistic skills, the Metaverse Creator major also places a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship and business development. Students will learn how to develop and market their virtual worlds as a business, with a focus on creating sustainable and profitable business models.Throughout the program, students will have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced computer labs and 3D printers. The College of Anime’s faculty includes experienced industry professionals who bring their real-world expertise and knowledge into the classroom.
