We are the branch of DEOW that is dedicated to supporting those who dream to study and live in Japan.

Our department was first created in 2015 with our first office in Taiwan and has since expanded to include offices in Vietnam, Brazil as well as our head office in Tokyo, which takes care of students from virtually any country around the world.

All of our counselors have experience living or studying in Japan for an extended period of time. Hence, we understand the student’s perspective and are confident to be able to deliver the supportive and honest guidance with regard to the education, lifestyle, culture and society of Japan.

When you first come to Japan, there are a number of items that you will need to set up, most of which are mandatory or essential, and are handled almost entirely in Japanese.

These items include declaring your address, registering for national health insurance, obtaining your social insurance number (called a “My Number”), getting a phone plan, and setting up a bank account.

At the Japan Study Abroad Network, we are here to assist you through each of these processes so that your experience of coming to Japan is as smooth and stress-free as possible.

We aim to provide you with genuine and unbiased counselling support so that you are able to confidently decide your path and achieve your dreams in Japan and around the world.
