The Tokyo College of Anime is one of the leading vocational schools of Animation, E-Sports, and Anime Voice Acting in Japan, with hands-on specialized industry-specific training from top class instructors in modern and fully-equipped facilities.
With a goal that students are able to be successful post-graduation, the courses are collaborative, practical and stimulating, and updated to be in line with the current trends, industry-standard practises and technologies, and most importantly the current demand and needs of the industry. Moreover, Tokyo College of Anime provides job counselling and job search services to its students as well as support to debut and launch their career.

About the department
The Anime/Event/Illustration Department offers five programs, including two four-year courses:
Each program is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in their respective fields.
The Voice Actor Management & Event Management Major prepares students for careers as voice actors or event managers, while the Digital Animation Production & Technology Major focuses on the technical aspects of digital animation. The Anime Producer Major teaches students how to produce anime from planning to distribution, and the Anime Acoustic/Sound Engineer Major trains students to be skilled in audio engineering for anime. Lastly, the Illustration & Character Design Major focuses on teaching students how to create original characters and illustrations for various media.
Located just 30 minutes away by train from the bustling hubs of Shinjuku and Shibuya, the College of Anime is situated in the heart of a vibrant community filled with countless opportunities for students to immerse themselves in the world of anime and entertainment. Surrounded by a wide array of shops and venues, students can explore and indulge in their passion for cosplay and card games. The Voice Actor Management & Event Management Major is a 4-year program designed to train students to become successful voice actor managers and event planners. Students will learn about the voice acting industry, including the various roles involved in producing an anime or game, as well as the importance of event planning and management.
Throughout the program, students will participate in hands-on training and workshops, where they will learn the necessary skills to manage and promote voice actors, organize events, and work with clients. They will also have the opportunity to participate in various events and performances, gaining practical experience in the industry.
Upon graduation, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed in the voice acting and event management industries, whether it be as a voice actor manager, event planner, or any related profession.

The Digital Animation Production & Technology Major focuses on the creation of digital animation, from concept design to final production.
Students will learn the technical skills necessary to produce high-quality animations, including 2D and 3D animation techniques, visual effects, and sound design. Additionally, students will gain experience in project management, teamwork, and communication.
