School Introduction

The Tokyo College of Anime is one of the leading vocational schools of Animation, E-Sports, and Anime Voice Acting in Japan, with hands-on specialized industry-specific training from top class instructors in modern and fully-equipped facilities.
With a goal that students are able to be successful post-graduation, the courses are collaborative, practical and stimulating, and updated to be in line with the current trends, industry-standard practises and technologies, and most importantly the current demand and needs of the industry. Moreover, Tokyo College of Anime provides job counselling and job search services to its students as well as support to debut and launch their career.

Department Introduction

The E-SPORTS department at College of Anime offers four majors aimed at developing professionals in the competitive gaming industry.

 

  • The 4-year E-Sports Management Major trains students in management and leadership skills specifically tailored for the e-sports industry.
  • The 3-year Super Pro Gamer Major focuses on honing students' gaming skills to compete at a professional level.
  • The 3-year Streamer & Game Commentary Major is designed for students interested in creating gaming content for online platforms.
  • Finally, the 3-year E-Sports Event Planning and Management Major teaches students how to plan, organize, and execute e-sports events.

Course Description

The E-sports Management 4-year major focuses on developing skills in managing and organizing e-sports teams and events.

Students will learn about the business side of the industry, including marketing, sponsorship, and event planning. They will also gain knowledge of game design and development, as well as player psychology and training techniques.

The Super Pro Gamer 3-year major is designed for students who want to become professional gamers.

They will learn about different game genres, platforms, and strategies, as well as how to analyze and improve their gameplay. They will also gain knowledge of the e-sports industry and the business side of being a professional gamer.
