Best Sushi in Japan

When it comes to Japanese food, what do you think of? sushi? katsu? soba?

In this blog, I will introduce REAL SUSHI you can have in Japan.



Disclaimer: cheap sushi in your country is usually not real sushi… What is considered real sushi? Real Japanese sushi, in its original form, consists of only four components: cooked rice, rice vinegar, seaweed, and either fresh raw fish or vegetables. A sushi master’s skills are measured by the quality of ingredients he/she chooses and how well he blends them together.



If you were my friend, ask me to take you to a sushi restaurant. I’ll take you to three different sushi restaurant in Kanto region (this is where Tokyo located)

1. スシロー (Sushiro) 110 yen sushi


 

 

The number one sushi restaurant chain in Japan, Sushiro is a Japanese multinational conveyor belt sushi specialty store. Sushiro is currently the largest conveyor belt sushi company in turnover. The total number of customers in a year is about 140 million, which is more than the total population of Japan.

Recommended flavor is Maguro

How to order?

Use an iPad sized tablet to order. You can change the language to English, Chinese and Korean so don’t freak out!!

2.  はま寿司 (Hamasushi) 110yen sushi


At Hamasushi, you can enjoy sushi made with the freshest and tastiest fish at reasonable prices. As most menu items are JPY110 per plate (with tax) you can eat to your heart’s content without worrying about the price. Hamasushi has an extensive lineup of menu items from standard tuna and salmon sushi to unique sushi varieties including beef.



Other than sushi, Hamasushi also offers deep-fried foods and noodles such as ramen. We hope you will find and enjoy Hamasushi conveniently located near your hotels and sites you visit during your stay in Japan!!!.

How to order?

Use a similar device as Susiro. You will be able to change the language to English, Chinese and Korean.

3. いぜずし (Isesushi)


Caution: this sushi restaurant is expensive (10000 yen+)

If you want to try THE BEST SUSHI RESTAURANT in Japan, this is a place for you. The sushi chefs took their time and carefully prepared the sushi. Buying the best sushi material from the fishing market almost everyday from 6am which allows you to feel Japan’s abundance of sea life and the quality of the fish.

How to order?

Since this place does not have tablets, you will have to order in Japanese.
