Learning and Student Support
Industry projects, company assignments and special lectures connect practical work with professional feedback. Japanese-language support includes JLPT preparation and business communication. W-major study allows subjects outside the initial major without additional tuition, subject to consultation and class arrangements. Game practical classes are restricted to the e-sports Pro Gamer major. W-major is not a double university degree. The official internship page describes placements of two weeks to one month; timing and placement depend on school arrangements. The former one-week minimum is not presented as the current standard.
Three-year majors lead to the vocational Diploma (senmonshi); four-year majors lead to the Advanced Diploma (kodo senmonshi), subject to graduation requirements. International Admission: 2027
Foreign nationals who have completed or expect to complete 12 years of formal school education by March 2027, or an accepted equivalent route. The foreign equivalency-test route requires age 18 by March 31, 2027. Consult Jikei COM for fewer than 12 school years or entry under age 18. Japanese: JLPT N1/N2; EJU Japanese 200 or above excluding writing; BJT 400 or above; or at least one year at a qualifying Japanese-language institution plus an entrance assessment at N2 level or above. A qualifying year at an Article 1 school, excluding kindergarten, also requires the N2-equivalent assessment. Consult for shorter language-school enrollment. JPT is not confirmed as an automatic alternative in the school-specific 2027 materials.
Selection includes documents, a Japanese written test and interview. Attend a school briefing before AO entry or application. AO entry starts June 1, 2026; formal AO applications start September 1, and international general/recommendation applications October 1. Applications close at capacity; confirm the route-specific deadline with the school, especially from overseas. Screening is 30,000 yen, nonrefundable; a designated-school recommendation exemption requires confirmation. Super Game Creator combines programming, graphics, planning, sound and team production. Its planning classes cover proposals, specifications and scenario/world building, with specialist pathways and production projects. Robot & AI Creator is a four-year major. Study robotics, AI and IT foundations, design, implementation and control through projects.
