Osu No Sushi School
Miyazaki
About
OSU NO SUSHI is a sushi-training school in Aoshima, Miyazaki. The Intensive Sushi Training Program lasts eight weeks and is taught in English, with one to three students per group. It can run with one enrolled student. Professional chefs, future restaurant owners and serious beginners are welcome; previous professional sushi experience is not required.
Daily practical study connects knife work, fish preparation, sushi rice, preservation, fermentation, seasonality, presentation and hospitality. Cultural and gastronomy activities depend on season and availability. Past testimonials mentioning Michelin-experienced chefs refer to the teaching team at that time, not a guarantee about current instructors. Eight weeks provides a foundation for further practice, not guaranteed professional employment or mastery.
For a shorter sushi or cultural experience, ask the school directly whether an individual arrangement is available. A separate half-day or one-day Tourism Course and its current price could not be confirmed in the present official course and application information; no short-course place or price is promised here.

Eight weeks, Monday-Friday, five hours per day. The official example day runs from 09:30 preparation to 14:30 class end/clean-up, but the actual schedule varies with ingredients, activities and training focus. Confirm your timetable, holidays and arrival/departure arrangements.

The graduation skills test may assess these techniques; confirm passing and certificate conditions rather than assuming attendance guarantees a qualification. Surfing and sightseeing are free-time possibilities, not guaranteed included lessons.
