Intensive Japanese Course

The intensive program covers beginner to advanced Japanese, including JLPT preparation. Placement is based on written and oral assessment. Classes have a maximum of 20 students. The official website describes four hours per day, 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, in an assigned morning or afternoon class. Confirm the current timetable and holiday calendar; fluency within a fixed number of weeks or months is not guaranteed.

For students applying for a student visa through the school: April entry is a two-year course and October entry is a one-year-and-six-month course. Both finish in March. The enrollment terms do not offer a six-month course; leaving early is withdrawal, not completion of a shorter course. The first-year fee reference is not a separate one-year student-visa course.

For applicants already living in Japan with a suitable status of stay, duration and start date require individual consultation. The course website and enrollment terms differ on shorter study arrangements, so a shorter duration or additional intake is not a guaranteed regular option.

The official application page lists April 2027 entry with a deadline of 31 October 2026. Confirm available places, your document deadline and screening requirements with the school. October 2026 has already started; the next October application schedule must be confirmed. Application documents and financial/supporting evidence depend on the applicant; admission, a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) and a visa are not guaranteed.

Housing, meals, transport, living expenses, national health insurance and personal expenses are separate. The school gives a living-cost estimate of 80,000-120,000 per month, not a fixed charge. Obtain an itemized quotation and confirm accommodation availability.

Official pricing discrepancy: for 18 months, Japanese/French pages and the English FAQ state 1,579,800, while the English detailed card states 1,577,800 (a 2,000 difference), using insurance 17,400 and medical 5,000 instead of 20,400 and 4,000. For 24 months, all display total 2,072,600, but the English card lists medical 10,000 rather than 4,000; its components would add to 2,078,600, 6,000 above the displayed total. These are reference figures, not a resolution of the discrepancies or a guaranteed final invoice.

Payment timing must be confirmed: pricing pages say no application-stage payment and fees after COE, but the application instructions and enrollment terms require screening 22,000 with the document/screening process, before submission to immigration. Do not assume zero upfront payment. The application page places the remaining school payment after COE; follow the confirmed invoice and deadline.

Completion standard also differs: the terms specify April two-year B2/JLPT N2 and October 18-month B1/JLPT N3, while pricing pages say the official certificate requires B2/JLPT N2. Ask the school which standard applies to your course, especially October. Attendance alone does not guarantee graduation or a JLPT result.

The pricing page describes visa-refusal refunds except screening and enrollment fees. The enrollment terms generally make enrollment non-refundable and screening non-refundable once the process has begun, and refer other cancellations/withdrawals to the cancellation policy; refund bank charges are normally borne by the applicant. Confirm the applicable written conditions before payment rather than assuming a full refund.
