Received by the Association of Japanese Language Education and Mitsui Academy’s legal status, Musashi-Urawa Japanese Language Institute was established in 2006 with the goal of becoming a high-quality educational institution and has all of the resources needed to be a perfect learning environment for students. The School supports students with a main course in preparatory Japanese before entering university, graduate school or vocational school. With the quality of the teaching system maintained by the school and with in the way that it combines study with extracurricular activities, the school cultivates rapid and effective learning of the lessons by its students’ and aims to minimize the stress of study. Professional, enthusiastic and experienced lecturers promise to bring to students not only knowledge but also practical and positive experiences. One way this is achieved is through a special tutoring program that introduces university and graduate school students to the strudents of this school so that they may exchange information about culture, studies and life. Another important feature of this school is their private tutoring program where consultants provide close-knit information sessions and counselling to each student to determine their aspirations as well aa abilities so that he or she may make the most appropriate choice of future study. Finally, the school also offers a Special Companion Program, which focuses on students who wish to obtain the Advanced Diploma, and connects each student with a most suitable counselor according to their Japanese language level and specialized abilities who learn about and provides extended support for the student throughout their studies. In these ways, the school stresses their policy of always putting students first.
  • Extensive extracurricular activities to “Study in an exciting way”
    • The school stimulates students’ learning through various trips and extracurricular activities that are put together every month. On a regular basis, the school organizes exchanges between students and local professionals from many fields, talks & info sessions, and activities both inside and outside the school to promote cultural learning and ultimately help students find opportunities to interact and make friends with everyday Japanese people. The school also actively organizes friendly conetitions so that students have the opportunity to be more confident and push themselves.

    • Every year, students have the opportunity to obtain scholarships introduced from 3 educational institutions, including JASSO, Chan Hung Education and Takayama International Education Association. In addition, after students enroll in this school, they are guided through the process of joining the Association of Japanese Language Schools as international students where they gain access to discounted monthly transportation and reimbursement for medical treatments occurring during the course of their study. Thirdly, the school has 3 specialized dormitories near their campuses which come equipped with everything one needs, including air conditioning, blankets, linen, microwaves, electric rice cookers, tables and chairs, wardrobe, and internet. The school provides all of this in order to best support the lives of students studying abroad.
