Applicants need 12 years of education or equivalent ability. Shorter national education requires consultation on the separate preparatory-education route, with different tuition and conditions. The one-year route targets approximately JLPT N1/N2. School rules effective October 1, 2026 list weekday 09:00-12:20 or 13:10-16:30, 20 weekly Japanese lessons of 45 minutes; school assessment determines placement.

Two-week to two-month study and customized cultural, sightseeing or homestay programs can be discussed separately and require individual quotes. Student-visa documents are normally prepared about 7-8 months before entry, with education, Japanese study/proficiency and financial-support evidence, screening, interviews and immigration review. Confirm the exact deadline, guarantor, required level and current payment/refund terms. Housing is introduced after COE issuance. The Japanese/English refund texts differ, so do not assume unconditional refunds.
