Kudan Institute of Japanese Language & Culture
Tokyo
About
Kudan Institute of Japanese Language & Culture offers conversation and intensive Japanese courses in central Tokyo. The school describes students from about 30-40 countries each month; this is not a monthly student limit. Classes typically have 12-20 students.
Student-visa study
The official next intake is April 2027, for eligible applicants on the conversation or intensive course, lasting 1-2 years. Applicants must be at least 18, have completed high school or higher education, and have JLPT N5 or above. Kudan currently does not accept student-visa applicants below N5; this does not exclude all short-term beginners.
Documents depend on nationality and circumstances, including education and funding evidence. The school publishes a sponsor bank-balance reference of at least JPY 1,600,000. For April admission, the general document-preparation window is August-October, followed by immigration processing. Confirm the actual deadline, available places and applicable documents directly; admission does not guarantee a visa.
