Kansai College of Business and Languages is in Abeno, Osaka. The institution traces its foundation to 1953 and established its Japanese-language program in 1989. Long-term courses
April: one-year Japanese, two-year Comprehensive Japanese, and one-year Advanced Japanese departments. October: 1.5-year Japanese and two-year Comprehensive Japanese departments. Applicants normally need 12 years of education and must be at least 18 at entry; Advanced Japanese has additional prior-study/school-approval requirements. Apply for the full course, not a planned six-month stay. Overseas student-visa applicants undergo school and immigration screening; approval is not guaranteed.
The published standard curriculum is full-time, Monday-Friday, 25 lessons per week plus a homeroom. Each lesson is 50 minutes; the timetable example runs 09:00-14:40 with a lunch break. It is not a choice between a morning-only and afternoon-only shift. Actual dates and placement depend on the school.

Short-term courses
A short-term semester provides 210 hours of Japanese study with level placement. Starts are April, late June, October and January; the published periods run to mid-June, mid-September, mid-December and mid-March respectively. The school lists Monday-Friday 09:00-14:40, five 50-minute lessons daily. Applicants need completion of at least 12 years of education. Confirm dates, level, permitted residence status and attendance period; this short course is not automatically a student-visa sponsorship route.

The published schedule is effective from April 2026. Selection is outside the semester subtotal and non-refundable. Other payments generally are not refundable, with a stated exception for visa non-issuance; confirm the precise current conditions and applicable 2027 quote before paying. Housing and living expenses are separate.
Admission and dates
The published recurring application windows are late July-early November for April entry and late January-mid-May for October entry, closing earlier when full. Confirm the exact 2027 deadline and document requirements, including financial support, education and Japanese study history.
Location and housing
2-9-36 Matsuzaki-cho, Abeno-ku, Osaka 545-0053, Japan. About five minutes from JR Tennoji or Abeno Station and three minutes from the Midosuji-line Tennoji or Osaka-Abenobashi exits specified by the school.
The official housing page lists recommended Dormy Oji from JPY 62,800/month with two meals and initial costs from JPY 162,000 including two months rent. Other listed dormitories start from JPY 48,000/month and apartments from JPY 35,500/month. These are undated starting-price references, not confirmed 2027 offers. Confirm availability, utilities, meals, deposits, eligibility and total move-in cost.
