These first-year totals include the application fee, paid at application; they are not tuition alone or the full 18-24 month program cost. Osaka school fees include tax. The 2027 manual applies to study from April 2027 to March 2029. Later-year fees may increase. Housing, living costs, external exams and some activity travel are separate.
Description
Minimum 2 weeks; beginners start at a term opening. Mid-term entry depends on placement and available space. Normally apply 30 days in advance. Applicants must be at least 16 (consult the school for younger students). Confirm suitable residence status; a course does not guarantee a visa.

Specified Skilled Workers: Consultation
Before applying for Specified Skilled Worker-related support, ask whether Osaka currently offers the required program. Confirm eligible applicants, industries, timetable, price and included services. Do not assume that another campus's program or prices apply to Osaka. Employment and residence-status approval are not guaranteed.

Admission for 2027
Requirements include 12 years of education or equivalent (school-approved exceptions apply), age under 55 on April 1, 2027, financial resources, and about 150 hours of Japanese study or N5/A1 proficiency. Applicants aged 18 or older with a high-school qualification may qualify with fewer years. Confirm eligibility and nationality-specific documents with the school.
2027 application deadlines: April intake, end of October 2026; July, end of February 2027; October, end of May 2027. Applications can close earlier when full.
Osaka Class Times
Morning: 8:50-12:00 or 9:20-12:30. Afternoon: 13:15-16:25 or 13:45-16:55. The school determines the class assignment.
Accommodation
Osaka student dormitory stays are for at least two terms (6 months). Utilities and internet are not included; the estimated utility deposit is settled against actual use when moving out. Confirm availability and a final quotation covering room type, dates, taxes, move-in/cleaning charges and optional airport transfer.
