International Admission: 2027
Applicants must hold or expect to hold a high-school diploma equivalent to Japanese senior-high graduation after 12 years of education. The current international admission web page lists English qualifications including TOEFL iBT 76, IELTS 6.0 with no band below 5.5, or Duolingo 100, with equivalent qualifications and exemptions subject to the full guidelines. Japanese proficiency is not required for entry. Confirm which test format, validity period and exemption apply to you.

In addition, iCLA offers experiential learning workshops to provide a wide range of cultural, practical and creative areas of study. Among the huge selection of workshops offered, students can experience traditional Japanese music, arts and culture such as Noh Theatre, Koto (Japanese harp), and Shakuhachi (Japanese flute), Shodo (Japanese calligraphy), Sado (Japanese tea ceremony), Kado (Japanese flower arranging), and various martial arts, including Judo, Karate, Aikido, Shugendo, and Nanba).
