Comprehensive Japanese Course

Description

The Comprehensive Japanese Course develops academic Japanese for university, vocational study and career goals. Study lasts one to two years, with 20 lessons per week on weekdays and a maximum of 20 students per class. The school supports eligible student-visa applications.

Eligibility and Japan residents

Student-visa applicants need 12 years of education or equivalent, documented funding for tuition and living costs, commitment to Japanese study, and a timely application. Eligibility is reviewed individually. Japan residents have a separate published plan of 6 months to two years: application ¥70,000 plus tuition ¥466,100 per six months, with textbooks and other fees extra. Confirm the applicable programme and fee before enrolling.

General Japanese Course

Description

The General Japanese Course develops communication for life and work in Japan using a curriculum supplied by GenkiJACS. It is a one-year or 18-month programme, with 20 lessons per week and normally no more than eight students per class; temporary groups of nine are possible. Discuss academic progression goals with the school.

Short Japanese Course

Description

The Short Japanese Course provides two weeks to three months of study in the Comprehensive classes, with 20 weekday lessons per week and a maximum of 20 students. Student visas are not sponsored for this course. Students must have an appropriate permitted stay for their nationality and study period.
