This intensive course runs for 1 to 2 years and offers a structured progression from beginner through advanced levels. Classes are held Monday to Friday, with a focus not just on grammar and vocabulary, but also on cultural understanding and communication skills. The school supports eligible students with the student visa application process, and the program begins four times a year, making it flexible to different student schedules.

The General Japanese Course is a premium, communicative Japanese program designed for students who want to live and work in Japan with strong daily language skills. This long-term course runs for 1 to 1.5 years and focuses on practical Japanese you’ll use in everyday life, from conversations and social interaction to work-related communication. Classes are held Monday through Friday in small groups (maximum 8 students), allowing you to get plenty of speaking practice and personal attention. Student visa support is available, and the program starts four times a year — making it a flexible option for many international learners. The curriculum is developed with the support of GenkiJACS, a partner education brand known for innovative language teaching.

The Japanese government sets visa application deadlines roughly 5 months* in advance of the start of study, so make sure to apply early! (If you don’t need a student visa, the application deadlines below do not apply.)

The Short Japanese Course is ideal if you want to study Japanese in Japan for a short period, from 2 weeks up to 3 months without needing a student visa. It gives you the chance to experience life and study in Nagoya while brushing up your Japanese skills or trying out the school before committing to a long-term program. The course uses the same curriculum as the school’s longer offerings, covering a range of levels from beginner to advanced, and includes interactive lessons that combine grammar, conversation, culture, and discussion practice. Classes run Monday through Friday, with a maximum of 20 students per class.

Short-Term Flexibility
You can study in Japan for just a few weeks to a few months, perfect if you only have limited time, want to improve your Japanese quickly, or want to experience the school before enrolling in a longer course. No student visa is required (tourist visa or visa waiver is enough).

Start Dates and Application Deadlines
This short-term Japanese course starts every three months. While the Japanese government’s visa application deadlines do not apply here, we do ask for you to send in your application at least one month in advance to give us time to prepare your classes, especially if you require us to book your accommodation.
Please note that availability may be limited, so we recommend applying early if possible.
