Main Features

  • A cultural learning environment with advanced equipment
    • LCD TVs and sound equipment are installed in each classroom. At the media library room in the basement there is a computer area, equipped with lots of Japanese textbooks and reference books, which is where students concentrate on studying before each exam. On the occasion of an event or festival, students, teachers, and school staff come together with a piano & instruments at the school’s music room. In addition, every area of the campus is decorated in a Japanese cultural style, namely the Japanese traditional rooms and authentic classrooms, as well as the stairs and corridors. On a beautiful day, you can find students relaxing amongst all of this, eating together in a group of friends on the school terrace.

  • Japanese textbooks are designed independently
    • In cooperation with commendable publishers in Taiwan, Aichi International Academy has published many of their own original & unique extended Japanese textbooks. In fact in Taiwan, several other Japanese language centers have begun using their curricula, which in addition to Japanese language textbooks, has been expanded to include a series of training manuals geared to exam preparation for the EUJ (the Examination for Japanese University Admission) in such subjects as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and recruitment, as well as the JLPT (Japanese language proficiency test). All of these published textbooks are located in the school library, so students can access and use them freely.

  • Extensive extracurricular activities and a full support system.
    • The school organizes a variety of useful & exciting events, such as field trips twice a year, periodical health examinations, visits to prospective schools where students are considering for further study, essay & exams seminars, day trips and excursions, literary activities, as well as sports festivals in collaboration with surrounding schools. The school also provides supplementary sessions to explain and support students studying several times a year both in and out of the school. Homeroom teachers are helpful to guide students from the onset of the semester, and foster curiosity & excitement in learning. All of the teachers at this school have experienced living abroad and as such are able to empathize with students and offer counsel about daily life, and do so in a variety of languages.

  • Purpose of AIA
    • We aim to provide the necessary language skills for non-native Japanese speakers who wish to study at universities or technical colleges in Japan. The language training provided by AIA enables our students to handle both the rigorous coursework of the universities and college and their day-to-day lives in Japan. AIA is devoted to preparing its students for top Japanese universities and colleges as well as for their future in the competitive global society.

  • Program feature
    • Our classes and text materials are edited and arranged base on the native language and Japanese proficiency of the individual student. In addition to language training classes, we hold exams periodically, participate in community activities and provide guidance on behavior and etiquette. We modify our classes, text materials and facilities on a continuous basis to meet the changing needs of our students, Japan, as well as the rest of the world. Thus, our students will receive the most current training and acquire the most up-to-date knowledge of the Japanese language. All of these features are intended to ensure that our students become successful in their future endeavors.
