Description
At ISI Osaka, the Specified Skilled Workers’ Employment Support Program is designed for students who wish to work in Japan and obtain a Specified Skilled Worker (Type 1) visa. The program helps students acquire essential Japanese language skills and prepares them to pass the skills assessment test, enabling them to enter industries with active recruitment opportunities. Elective classes and an online Learning Management System (LMS) allow students to practice exam questions and become familiar with the test format. Our career center and specialized staff provide comprehensive guidance to ensure success in both the exam and job placement. We introduce students to part-time and full-time positions in the accommodation and food service industries, with plans to expand support to transportation and other sectors facing labor shortages. After passing the assessment and securing a job offer, we assist students in applying for a change of residence status so they can begin their career in Japan.
