Founded in 1992 in Nagano, ISI has grown into one of Japan’s largest Japanese language school groups, with campuses in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Nagano, serving over 3,000 students from more than 110 countries. In addition to its language schools, ISI also operates a university (Beijing Language and Culture University) and two vocational schools, expanding opportunities for students to continue their education.

The Kyoto campus, established in 2003, combines a warm, family-like atmosphere with modern facilities, set in one of Japan’s most culturally rich and historic cities.
