Kyoshin Japanese Culture & Language Summer Program

The 2019 Program runs from July 9th to July 28th.

Enjoy an affordable 20-day Japanese Language and Culture Program that encompasses a ‘work hard, play hard’ format, bringing the study of Japanese Language together with daily excursions out into various parts of Tokyo, exploring both Japan’s culture as well as subcultures, and hitting as many bucket-list experiences as time would allow.

The major highlights of this program include:
・Practical, conversation-oriented Classes
・Excellent & experienced instructors
・Exploring of Japanese Sub-Culture, including Otaku culture in the popular Akihabara District, and
・Exploring of Japanese traditional culture, including visiting the famous traditional town of Asakusa.

The program schedule entails Japanese language classes in the mornings and a full activity schedule in the afternoons. Such activities include:
・Asakusa District & Famous Shrine
・Akihabara Maid Cafe
・Origami
・Ueno District & Animal Cafe
・Ikebukuro District
・Ghibli Museum & Anime Day
・Skytree
・Japanese Food Sampling Event
・Ryogoku (Sumo) District & Japanese Traditional Art Museum
・Japanese Calligraphy
・Yukata Experience
・Sumida River Fireworks Display

Homestay:
・Single room (but if you are staying in more than one host)
・Includes two meals (morning and evening).
・School hours for school hours (about 30 minutes to 70 minutes)

・Tuition, activity admission and from school
・Round trip transportation expenses, food expenses (morning and dinner at homestay destination),
